All MajikMoon Sphynx kittens and cats are pets first. They come complete with all veterinary care current, sterilization complete as well. Breeding males and females are not released for adoption.
We do not ship our kittens. Any family that would like to adopt may make arrangements for partial delivery by vehicle, meeting at a cat show or coming to visit our home.
We are asked frequently what are the fees associated with adopting a MajikMoon kitten or cat. Sphynx Kittens - 14 weeks - 1 year $1200.00 to $1500.00 This includes all vaccinations, spay/neuter, health certificate and contract. We will replace any kitten that expires due to genetic related illness 12 months from date of birth. Delivery available within reasonable driving distance for small fee. Sphynx Young Adults - 1 - 1.5 years $800.00 to $1000.00 This includes all vaccinations, spay/neuter, health certificate and contract. Sphynx Retired Adults - 1.5 - 4 years $600.00 This includes all vaccinations, spay/neuter, health certificate and contract. Adults have usually had 1-3 litters of kittens, but are not usually older than 3 years old. MajikMoon has an outcross program. Outcrossing diversifies and strengthens the Sphynx breed by bringing in a new blood line with the health/strength of the domestic shorthair cat. The first generation of domestic cats bred to Sphynx produces kittens that look like average regularly coated domestics. These kittens are a very valuable asset to the Sphynx bloodlines and are referred to as "foundation" (F) lines. These kittens take on those special personality traits so well recognized in Sphynx and make wonderful additions to any home. Generally it takes a few generations of breeding back to Sphynx to complete the program and have Sphynx again. F1-F3 (first through third generation ) kittens are available to pet homes for $100.00. These are any of the regularly coated hybrid kittens. If a family would like to adopt a Sphynx along with an F1-F3 (with hair), the F1-F3 is available for $50.00. |
